Remember, you must enter and pay for your registrations in advance, online as noted above. Once you arrive at the applicable marina, show the ID or order print-out for all the hands you are picking up.
1pm-4pm
Picking Up Cards at Docks
Please do not get off your boat. From 1-4pm, you will be able to visit each sponsored dock to pick up one enveloped playing card per player. DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPES. The sponsored docks are spread out over the lake. Volunteers on these docks will hand the cards to you using long poles or nets. Your enveloped playing card will be numbered to match your numbered wristband. All cards in your hand must have the same matching number as your wristband. *There is a MEMBERS ONLY dock where JLA Members are able to receive an extra enveloped card! Join below, if you are not a member.
3:30pm-5:30pm
Check-in at Reasor’s Landing
The event concludes at Reasor’s Landing where participants turn in their hands between the hours of 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. After arriving at Reasor’s, please anchor your boat in the designated area. We will have shuttle boats run by volunteers to take players from each boat to check in your hand. Turn in your hands by getting in line at the tent. You will have a chance to win more prizes while in the check-in line. At the check-in table, volunteers will open your hand and show you your cards. All cards must be in unaltered envelopes with a matching number to your wristband. After checking in your hand, please pick up your boxed lunch catered by Fire & Ice and sponsored by Burt Jones for Lieutenant Governor.
If you are sick or have tested positive for COVID-19, please do not participate in the Poker Run. If you have any of the high-risk factors (see https://dph.georgia.gov/cdc-guidance), please do not serve as the individual picking up registration packets or turning in hands for the individuals on your boat.
